CONTEXT: Like Cohen before him, Cloudio comes to view Sandria in a complex, cynical, hurt, non-hallelujah way. Now that she has gotten what she wanted from him: sperm from the man she has created to give her a child, he is coming to understand that his reason for ‘living’ has ended. He does not know what is coming but appeals to her to destroy him, hoping she will do the opposite. He knows he has no reason to believe that she will.
